I like to colour stamps with different media, use stitching as well as 3D on my cards, but scrapcards are also part of my cardmaking, just like little gift boxes. I like to work in (nice) teams. 4. Hello. My name is Ali - crafting/writing under the name, TeddyBob Crafts. I live in Pembrokeshire, UK and I have been crafting for 17 years. I was addicted to cross stitch at first and then moved onto papercrafts (also tried knitting, crochet, latch hook .... along the way). My favourite styles are very varied and I am always trying new techniques/products. I have just started studying for the Certificate in Papercrafts - and that will include scrapbooking, something that I have been meaning to try for ages. Thank you for the chance to join your Design Team. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Ali x

  5. I would love to be considered as part of your design team for 2013. I was lucky to be a guest designer for you blog last year and just loved it! I am a dedicated card maker with a blog that has approximately 250 followers. I am a lover of all things copic and have worked diligently over the past four years to master those little babies. My "style" is eclectic, hence the name of my blog, but I am drawn to vintage, lots of bling and of course, copics, as my predominant medium. I am a person who also loves to experiment with inks, sprays, dies and so my craftroom has all the latest ribbon, bling - I think I would need another lifetime to play with it all... but it is my "sanctuary" and could not imagine life without it. I don't think there is a medium I have not played with or a product I have not tried! I am a life-long learner and I will take online and on site classes throughout the year in an effort to grow and expand my creative possibilities!
I began my craft life doing art quilts, having learned that and crocheting and knitting from my mother who still enjoys crafting with me. I stumbled on rubber stamping after taking a $10 class at my local library over 6 years ago, and I never looked back. I just began teaching copic classes locally and have found great satisfaction seeing others grown in their creative journey.

  6. I would love to be a part of your team.
    A little about myself...
I have been crafting for quite a while now. I learned to sew early in life and my love of hobbies grew from there. I started paper crafting about 12 years ago, scrapbooking mostly. I have been making cards for about 4 years. In addition to sewing and scrapbooking and card making; I taught myself to crochet last year. I bought a book and went from there! I have a daughter who is my mini-me. She loves to color with me and I hope she will continue to grow in crafting and then I'll have a true crafting buddy.

I love to try new things, new techniques and new challenges. I’m not afraid to give it a try just to see if I like it or if I can do it. That is why I have enjoyed paper crafting so much. There is always something new to try and master and I love that.

I describe my style as clean; I won’t say simple because not all my projects are clean and simple. I think I have a great eye for color and awesome color combinations. I like to step outside the box and try combinations most people wouldn’t think of putting together.

  11. My name is Jessica Arrant, I've been a crafter my whole life and a paper crafter for a little over three years. I started as a way to document my 8 month old's life (he turns 4 on Dec. 21!). My husband and I now have a second son and those three guys are pretty much my world - and definitely my scrappy focus. When I'm not creating pages about them, I'm slinging lattes to pay for my crafty obsession or I'm making cards to send to Operation Write Home.
My scrapbook pages always include some sort of journaling - I did start this to tell the story to future generations. And I would describe my style to be sort of shabby chic - lots of layers, inking and distressing. To date I haven't been part of any design teams but I have been chosen as a favorite for a couple of challenges that I've entered, and I've been a guest designer at Scrapbooksteals.com.
You can see more of my creative work at http://errantscraps.blogspot.com.

  17. Hello! I am Tammy and I live in Alberta Canada. I love to create! I have been making cards for several years now and I don't think I have any particular style. I just love to make whatever moves me at the time. I also scrapbook which I have done for years as well. My new foray is into smash books, I just picked up 2 and cannot wait to get started!

I am currently a DT lead for Lollipop Crafts (my 3rd term) and I am also on the teams for Use It Tuesday and Penny's Paper Crafty. I love being on a DT and sharing ideas and just reaching so many others out in blogland and hopefully inspiring them as well. I enjoy blog surfing looking for inspiration of my own.

I have entered your challenges in the past and I love them. I would love to be on your DT and work with an amazing group of designers.

  18. Hi! My name is Lacey aka Craft Donkey. I live in Kansas. I have 2 kiddos two dogs and a scraproom I adore to be in. I love crafting everything, mixed media, cards, layouts, art journals, altered pieces and the list goes on. i do not like to limit myself to one type of design or style. I enjoy exploring them all and using bits and pieces of everything I learn along the way. I most enjoy teaching and sharing with others. Ever since I began my all crafting blog I've come to the conclusions that the how to videos I do on Ustream and the posts teaching others how to do things that seem complicated but really aren't is what I'm all about! I love challenging others as well as myself in all avenues of crafting. Thank you for the opportunity to be on this great team!

  27. Hi, my names Kerry and I live in Nottinghamshire UK. I started crafting in 2006 and my biggest love now has to be stamping. I love all types of stamping from pretty and cute and colouring with my promarkers, polychromos or distress markers (actually there new lol) to getting really really inky (I have managed to get through so many of Mr Holtz scrubbies lol). I also love lots of different types of inky i.e not just inkpads but sprays and paints my favourite being Fresco paints. I love masks, stamping on fabric and metal, creating canvases, using felt, machine stitching, mixed media and altering bits like books. I have a wide variety of stamps some of my favourites being crafty individuals, indigo blu, paperartsy, stampers anonymous, also enjoy doing some cute cards with magnolia, molly blooms, whimsy, saturated canary and kraftin kimmie. I have to admit I am preferring to produce something inky more of the time then cute but still love it due to my addiction to pretty papers and ribbon, lots and lots and lots of ribbon :-). I love learning new techniques like the newest is rock salt and sprays which I did a tutorial for another DT. I am on one design team which is once fortnightly which you can also add inspiration on another blog but thats not compulsory but I have enjoyed doing tutorials on there purely as I like to share :-) I have entered fabric delight as my best project as I was trying to show lots of different things i.e stamping on fabric, paint, sewing, also I like to make my own embellishments like the bird on project I shown is stamped on acetate, painted behind with fresco paint and then loads of gold paint on top when its dry so when you turn it over it looks fab, I actually learnt the technique while I was at Artsycrafts which was a weekend away with paperartsy. Erm ok I feel like I'm going on, I am rabbling lol, so I shall go. Thanks for allowing me have the opportunity to apply for your creative team :-) Kerry x

  30. Hi, I'm Lisette and I would love to be considered for your 2013 DT.
I have been crafting since I was an iddy biddy girl but it is only since July this year that I have been blogging my endeavours. This was my first step in my attempt to break away from my day job and to somehow make a living from what I love doing best - crafting and creating. How that will pan out, who knows, but I'm loving the journey?!My style is eclectic and I am always trying out new ideas, techniques and styles.

When I began my blog I made a commitment to myself that I would post something every day and almost 6 months down the line I have upheld that commitment whilst at the same time doing my day job. When I began my blogging I had no idea of the crafty blogging community that was out there. I've sought out blog challenges and use these to provide the inspiration and themes for many of my blog posts. What blew me away was how how supportive and friendly the design teams were, not to mention all the followers of their sites and how quickly you can build up friendships with people who share the crafting passion. Design Team posts are inspirational with there always being something that you feel you could achieve yourself. Their comments and feedback, together with that of their followers, on your own submissions brighten up your day and give you the confidence to continue. I would love to be part of your design team so that I can, hopefully, give that back to others as well as provide inspiration.

  31. Hello! My name is Shea, and I would love to join your team as a DT member. I have been crafting my entire life. I sew, knit, crochet, cross stitch, make very elaborate Christmas ornaments (the longest took me 60 hours to assemble), and have dabbled in many other crafts over the years. Or should I say I USED to sew, knit, etc. because I made my first card almost exactly one year ago, and I haven't picked up another craft since. (Well, almost - my daughter comes over once a week and I do other crafts, the latest being that I make "jewelry" for my cards). I am obsessed with paper, which stems back to my childhood when I loved playing in glitter and glue. I retired just over a year ago and can now indulge my obsession on a daily, nearly continual, basis (my Christmas decorations have yet to come down). I am currently a member of the Tuesday Alchemy Design Team and would welcome the challenge of being on another team. I post a new project nearly every day, having only taken a short break during the Christmas holiday, and having been an executive assistant for many years, I am very deadline oriented. I love all styles of papercrafting, being particularly drawn to vintage and ornate/highly embellished. If you go to the very first page of my blog, you'll see the progression I've made since my first card. I am constantly challenging myself to learn new techniques and would LOVE to be a part of your team! Thank you for the opportunity!
